Ta Thanh Oai Village Festival

Time: 14th to the 16th day of the first lunar month.

Place: Ta Thanh Oai Village, Ta Thanh Oai Commune, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi.

Objects of worship: Lady Do Ho and King Le Dai Hanh.

Characteristics: Have a procession at midnight; boi chess playing, human chess, pots smashing, ducks catching, trong quan singing.

Time: 6th day of the third lunar month.

Place: Ha Dinh Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.

Objects of worship: Tu Vinh (father of Zen Buddhist Tu Dao Hanh).

Characteristics: Rod fighting (two people), steamed glutinous rice cooking contest, hand wrestling, cock fighting.

Time: the 25th day of the first lunar month (lasted from 1 to 3 days).

Place: Mai Dich and Dich Vong wards, Cau Giay District, Hanoi.

Objects of worship: Buddha and Imperial concubine Y Lan.

Characteristics: cheo do singing (row ferry-boat), lotus dance, phoenix dance.

Time: the 8th to the 10th day of the second lunar month.

Place: Thanh Liet Commune, Thanh Tri District, Hanoi.

Objects of worship: Pham Tu (Outer Communal House, Chu Van An (Inner Communal House).

Characteristics: A palanquin procession from Inner Communal House to the Outer Communal House, tuong performance, cock fighting, boi chess playing.
